How Chaos to Calm collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Chaos to Calm ("we", "us", "Chaos to Calm") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
We collect personal information you give us directly, and some information automatically through analytics.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we don't use it for anything beyond what's described here.
Your information is only shared with the service providers that help run this website and business, and only as needed for them to provide that service:
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside New Zealand. Each is a reputable, widely used service with its own privacy and security standards.
Contact form enquiries and related correspondence are kept for as long as reasonably useful for business and record-keeping purposes. Newsletter subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your rights" below.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics and Metricool to understand site usage, and from MailerLite if you interact with the newsletter form. These don't collect sensitive personal information and are standard for most business websites.
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it's wrong. You can also ask us to delete your information or unsubscribe from communications at any time.
To make any of these requests, email angela@chaostocalm.co.nz.
Anything shared in the course of a client engagement is treated as strictly confidential and is never discussed with others or used outside the scope of that engagement. If a confidentiality agreement is required, we're happy to sign one you provide.
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how the business operates or in relevant law. The latest version will always be available at this page.
